Counseling offers you an effective way to overcome obstacles. Talk with your First Sun EAP counselor about the circumstances you’re facing, especially those affecting your personal and professional life. And share with your counselor the goals you’d like to achieve, such as improving on or developing new skill sets.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
You can set up an appointment by completing our online request form or by giving us a call. You’ll share your needs with an intake specialist and any preferences you may be looking for in a counselor. Parents or guardians should call in for minors and adult children should make requests for themselves.
You can choose face-to-face or video counseling. Both are free, and each has its advantages, but it comes down to personal preference.
First Sun takes great care to pair you up with a counselor who matches your preference and to get an appointment for you as soon as possible. If you feel your counselor is not a good fit after your first session, please let us know so we can get you a better match.
IS MY COUNSELOR IN THE NETWORK?
If you have a preferred counselor, an intake specialist will search our preferred provider network to verify the use of your First Sun EAP counseling session with your counselor. If your counselor is not in the network, we can direct the counselor on how to join the First Sun EAP network. We will quickly review the credentials and contact you with the final result.
