ABOUT Nancy
Nancy is our chief operating officer. In her 26-year career at First Sun, Nancy has held nearly every position within the organization. She first began as a licensed professional counselor.
Since then, Nancy has become a registered organizational development professional, which allows her to provide organizational consultations to a wide variety of industries. She enjoys bringing back to First Sun all she has learned from working with so many wonderful people and organizations over the years.
ABOUT Shannon
Shannon is the executive vice president of strategy and finance at First Sun. With an educational background in computer technology and business, she has been an asset to the company since joining in 2000. Starting from the ground up, Shannon gained comprehensive knowledge of the EAP business while working diligently on the Operations team.
In her current role, Shannon focuses on devising strategic plans to drive business growth, all while maintaining her commitment to helping individuals improve themselves. She dedicates her efforts to identifying and leveraging assets that are pertinent to the development of products and sales. As a leader, Shannon heads the revenue goals and actively explores innovative business practices and projects, employing a creative approach. She is interested in enhancing best practices across various domains, including sales, training, finance, and technology. Shannon plays a direct role in setting targeted objectives, fostering shared plans, and working towards collective goals within the organization.
Professional development is important to Shannon, specifically those that enhance leadership skills and diversity, equity, and inclusivity training. She believes that employees and managers can be a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.
